Our industry renowned experts, whom are currently responsible for the Air Quality Management Program for the City of Riyadh will lead you through a 3 day interactive program covering compliance, control of air emissions, air quality, modelling and mitigations.

Course Overview

The course will start with a basic understanding of air emissions, air dispersion and air quality. Types of air pollutants and applicable environmental regulations will be discussed. An overview of monitoring and control of air emissions and air quality levels will be provided (i.e, installation of continuous emission monitoring systems, development of background air quality levels monitoring campaigns). Evaluation of air quality impact will be introduced, through a preliminary overview of regulatory air dispersion models and advanced forecasting systems. Environmental compliance for permitting processes as well as compliance with international standards related to air quality will be covered. Mitigation measures for the control of air pollution will be introduced.

Target Audience

This course is designed to familiarize in-house non-technical and technical people with the steps required to manage air pollution, including but not limited to those working in Environment and HSE. All new entrants, non-technical and technical alike, along with more experienced people that require a broader understanding of air pollution will benefit from this course. The course can be tailored to a specific audience and industry sector.
